Steals & Deals: Target yellow shorts, $8.98 {on sale}//Marshals Navy Tee, $12.99//Thrifted Belt {which btw was brand new}, $3.00//Bongo Gold Boat Shoes, $14.99//H&M sunnies, $7.95

So who has shopped at Target lately!? I recently walked in the store and fell in love with half of the merchandise. And thought, this is why Target is my favorite store. My eyes bounced from one item to the next spotting gorgeous clutches, perfect basics, and summer dresses. And if you need a swimsuit, Target is the place. The reason I am going on about Target, besides the fact that the store is a broke girls dream, is I purchased these lovely shorts there {on sale, score!}. Two other things I must note (1) I am obsessed with combining yellow and navy (2) These dangle Chloe and Isabel earrings are my absolute favorite. I don't wear dangles, but they are light, cute, reasonably priced and perfect. Check them out {here}.

And yes, I had to throw in a picture of my family's yard. It is filled with beautiful colors and plants--my father really does a great job keeping it up.

Hope everyone is having a lovely Monday! xo

A couple things to talk about with this little number I put together.

1) Color Blocking: I am pretty proud to say that I discovered this trend more than a year ago and used it as my theme for my portfolio {Portfolio is expected to be online within the next month}. Exhibited in my outfit is popular summer colors {mint, tangerine/coral, navy & gold} worn together to create a color blocking effect. It's all about pairing together two or three pieces that have contrasting colors. Remember to pick pieces with a single color to get the effect above. For more advice on which colors to pair together check out my post with Brannen of Wayward Girl {here}.

2) Cotton On Dress for $10.00: I found this gorgeous coral/tangerine dress for only $10.00 at the Australian clothing brand, Cotton On Outlet. They have great on trend pieces for such a steal. You will definitely be seeing more wear more of this brand! Check out their site {here}. Unfortunately they do not have a website for their outlet pieces. However, their clothing is pretty reasonably priced anyways, so check it out!

Hope everyone enjoys their week! Congratulations to all the graduates! xo
