Como was unreal...I mean that was the view from our hotel window (do I need to say more!?)
We took a boat ride out on the lake to beautiful town of Bellagio. We passed by million dollar villas, including George Clooney's home.
The boys waited in this small alleyway in Bellagio to avoid car traffic in front of them. We had to be careful walking down the street because the streets were so narrow that there was not enough room for you and the car to pass.
We rode to the top of the mountain for dinner on the Como-Brunate funicular and experienced this incredible view of Como.
The Duomo in Como was one of the most beautiful churches I have ever seen. The details were exquisite (the pictures say it all).
Como was perfection. We enjoyed slow mornings, aimlessly walking through the small cobblestone streets, shopping while all the stores were closed, trying to find the stores we liked when they were open (which is so hard when the streets are like a maze and the buildings look the same), trying to order in Italian (my dad and Elliott spoke like a pro, the rest of us did a great job of pointing and smiling). We experienced so much in Como, but little did we know we were going to see that much more in the cities to come. Next stop, Verona and Venice! Ciao ciao xo
