Oh hey, I'm back! I recently traveled to Italy and couldn't pass up the opportunity to share it with all of you (after so many requests, of course). First stop, Milano!
The floors in the Duomo were insane! I hope to have something similar in my house one day. Reminds me of some inspiration I've seen on Pinterest like this, but a thousand times more beautiful.
Yes, as you guessed I am dating that guy. He is such a ham, but that is exactly why I love him.
Puddle jumped my way to the Galleria and Duomo (in ballet flats, yikes). Italians were unfazed by the poring rain and looked flawless as ever in their loafers and suits. If it were to rain in California (don't worry, it won't), we'd all be wearing rainboots and raincoats not quite as fabulous, but much more practical.
After exploring all day, we weren't quite sure where to eat. Then turned the corner and saw Luini's with a long line out the door, so we knew we had to eat there! It was the first time Elliott ordered in Italian (he spoke perfectly). Our panini's melted in our mouths - it was simply the best.
After continuing to walk all day (after finding ourself at a free outdoor jazz concert, seriously wish I had pictures of this you guys, it was amazing!), we stumbled upon a fricken castle. It had the cleanest public bathroom I've even been in and we counted about ten feral cats wondering below the castle bridge.
We walked all day and explored Milan at our own leisurely pace. Milan is so beautiful, but the cities I visited next were even that much more beautiful. Next stop, Lake Como! Ciao, ciao. xo
