My name is Marisa I am a college student at FIDM in California, the creative type I guess. I am petite, a food lover, a dancer, a night owl, singer (well not a very good one) and I just enjoy having fun. I mean who doesn't? Also, I must admit I am totally obsessed with Pinterest, HGTV, Adobe Illustrator, blogging, fashion photography, a great outfit, dressing up, and a good deal.

Why Broke with Designer Taste? Let's face it, I am in college and I am totally broke. I am always trying to find pieces that look expensive and are in trend for less. I actually have never really had a large budget for clothing so I have always loved to find great pieces in unexpected places for a price that's to die for. I think that it is in my blood. My father has about 50 cashmere sweaters and he did not buy one for full price. He also thrifted Vintage Ray Ban Wayfarers for $2. I think I need to hang around him more often!
