This dress, blouse, or whatever you would like to call it was an awkward fit, so I hemmed it a couple inches up and now (images below) it is a peplem blouse!! |
Deals & Steals: Urban Outfitters Blouse, $9.99//K Mart Pink Capris, $19.00//Thrifted Heals $9.00//F21 Clutch, $12.00
chloe + isabel jewelry: Retro Glam Chrystal Necklace//Multi Charm Garden Bracelet//Deco Pearl Fly Ring
I am pretty happy with this printed "dress" that I reinvented into a peplem blouse. It is pretty easy to do. With a dress (old or thrifted) that comes in at the waist, just shorten it with a sewing machine and you have yourself an in trend piece for almost nothing! A little bit of creativity goes a long way!
Today I am attending the Academy of Art Fashion Show, which I am pretty excited about. My friend has her collection in the show and my other friend is walking as a model. Pictures to come of the show. Last but not least, Happy Cinco de Mayo! Make sure to stay safe everyone!! xo

Great job on the change-up! I've shortened some longer skirts, but I can't wait to try this!
