Here are some of the best images from the Academy of Art University 2012 fashion show I attended yesterday. It showcased the collections and work of their best graduating students, including my friend, Erica Laba, who was interviewed here. Most students did collaborations with other students, which included women's wear, knit wear, and sculpture (jewelry design) working together to make incredible overall looks. I was extremely impressed by what I saw yesterday! The collections were absolutely amazing and to say the least, inspiring. Oh and did I mention that one of their fashion design student's landed an internship with the Sarah Burton from Alexander McQueen's Fashion House!? Pretty impressive.
