This week I have been out traveling to New York City and visiting two of my really good friends. It was been so much fun exploring the city and getting an insiders look into life here. There is so much to do and so much to see! And I love seeing what people are wearing--it can be so inspiring! This is just a few images from my trip. Follow along on Instagram to @brokewithdesignertaste to see more of my adventures.

Hope everyone is enjoying there week xo

F*** it, let's go to New York! Well, that is kind of how I felt yesterday when I discovered that there was a flash sale for airline tickets. So what did I do? Spontaneously purchase a ticket to New York. Madness, right? I visited the city in March, fell in love and was somewhat heartbroken that I had to leave {images from my trip above}. So it is kind of a dream that I get to visit again. The city is gorgeous, and in a much different way than the beauty that I am used to here in California. Also, this time I am going to have to think of the city in a new light as I to try to figure out if I really want to move there after I graduate college this March. {That's kind of crazy too.}

So what am I going to do in New York? Well first off, two of my best friends ditched me to move to the city--so I get to visit them! Yay! And I will get a chance to go to some of my favorite places: Washington Square, Greenwich Village, Central Park, the Upper East Side, Soho, Brooklyn and so so SO much more. I hope to network a bit too and maybe attend some fun events.

If you have any suggestions of places to visit in New York, please share! Also, I hope everyone enjoyed there long holiday weekend. xo
